A Sentimental Blog Entry

Im pretty sure we have all had those moments in our lives were we stop and realize we're no longer a little kid. For me these moments are quite frequent, though i am still very young, its mind boggling to me that it's going to be 2010 in a few days. When i was little i used to think about the year 2010 and be like woah thats so far away i have to wait till 2010 till a graduate high school and now here it is. Also on January 21 i will be 18, an official adult. Come on thats weird...then i thought about it for a moment and realized not much will be different. Actually i wasn't really sure what would change so i googled it (good old google) 

Things i will be able to do as an 18 year old

• Buy Cigarettes
• Buy a gun
• Buy Fireworks
• Buy Porn
• Buy a lottery ticket
• Allowed to carry but not consume alcohol
• Can drive with as many people in my car as i want
• Can vote

Turns out 18 isn't that exciting, maybe i'll buy a lottery ticket, and vote, and drive with a few more people in my car. 

I think i am going to enjoy my next 20 something days of being officially not an adult, then again people say 21 is the real age of adult hood ( don't ask me who says this, i might have made it up in my head). 

For me 2010 will be a full of change and growing up, a year of independence and learning. I think i'm ready to take on this adventure!
